| Born in Chicago, Illinois, Brian Brosnan left his hometown (at the age of 19 with just 200 US dollars in his pocket) and moved to Los Angeles, starting his career as a Location Manager on Academy Award-winning Terms of Endearment and television shows such as Murder She Wrote. He created Hollywood Locations in 1989, after striking a deal with the Hearst Corporation to represent the historic Herald Examiner newspaper building as a premier movie location, and co-founded Los Angeles Center Studios in 1998. Brian Brosnan is also an investor and Producer in award-winning documentaries and feature films. Hollywood Locations is now the industry leader in film location management and will be celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary in 2014. Led by Brian G. Brosnan, Christopher M. Ursitti, Peter Brosnan and Ken Johnson, Hollywood Locations represents eighty percent of the most prestigious and filmable buildings in Los Angeles and its clients include all the major motion picture, television and commercial companies including Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros, Sony Pictures, HBO, 20th Century Fox, Disney ABC Television Group, AMC, Showtime, NBC and CBS. Los Angeles Center Studios is a twenty-acre campus just west of downtown Los Angeles with 450,000 square feet of Class-A and production turnkey office space, six 18,000 square foot state-of-the-art sound stages, a backlot with numerous practical locations, and a full range of services and on-site amenities. Los Angeles Center Studios is on course to become one of the largest independent motion picture studios in the world. Feature films and television series shot at Los Angeles Center Studios include: Mad Men, X-Files,Batman Forever, Miss Congeniality 2, Terminator, Collateral, Die Hard, Truth or Dare (Madonna), Rumor Has It, Legally Blonde 2,Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Mission Impossible 2, Rush Hour 2, Collateral Damage, Fracture, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D (Marvel) and Charlie’s Angels. In recent years, Brian Brosnan has expanded his influence in the movie industry as a Writer, Director, Investor, Producer and Distributor of documentaries and feature films including Wampler’s Ascent, which won the Golden Palm Award at the Beverly Hills Film Festival (2013) and now with the feature debut of Synapse. Brian worked closely with Director Kenlon Clark and Actor/Writer Adam Simon during production of Synapse and is seeing the project through to distribution. |
